5a. yes i think these are good qualities because the tribe members should respect everyone and be good roll models by not getting angry or not listening to what one person has to say.

1b. He is welcoming a new lord into the confederacy. He is granting him good luck and hoping that he helps govern the Five nations with the interests of the people.

2b. no i think he said cousins because spiritually they are brothers and they share a bond that is like family.

3b. he shall be a proof against anger, offensive actions and criticism. And his heart shall be filled with peace and good will and his mind filled with a yearning for the welfare of the people of the confederacy. With endless patience and carry out your duty and your firmness shall be tempered with tenderness for your people.

4d. They respected nature in many ways including let it keep peace and make decisions for them.
