The towns people are expecting her to look horrible, but she is beautiful and the way she is dressed is also extremely beautiful, and nobody understands why. To them, she is a horrible person for the sin she had committed. They think she is a whore who sleeps around with anybody, the standards of how a whore looks is bad, so her beauty shows that she is not a whore, and that she is and pure.
