1a. everyone thinks that water and air and food and everything they get is what keeps them alive but Edwards thing that god controls all that stuff so he keeps you alive.

3a. To praise god and no one else, to change your heart and embrace god and nobody else.

4a. there is nor reason why you were not thrown into hell last night this morning and there is no reason why you are not going to hell right now is the fact that god is keeping you from going there.

5a. yes i do because in that short amount of time you become sad and happy and it makes you want to do better things and praise god so i think this could work well in short term, but if it were long term i think that the people would start to go crazy and think that everything they did was bad and the entire church would end up being a cult with Edwards as there leader.

1b. with the rock he is trying to say that if god lets you go there is no stopping you that is it and you are going to hell. If God is angry he will destroy the person and all's that is left is dust.

2b. A storm of thunder and black clouds. Anger is represented by darkness and uncontrollable 

3b. The bow wants to release the arrow and have it go right through your heart but god hold the bow back. this is scary because you realize if god lets go you will die.

4b. BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS TO GO TO HELL

5b. Shakespeare's view of god is that one of the best things about him is that he is merciful. Edwards thinks that god is merciless and will kill you at anytime.
